Our diet plays an important role in achieving a healthy diet. When you want a uniform and shiny tan, protecting your skin and preventing premature ageing, pay special attention to what you eat.

Because there are some nutrients you should include in your diet if you want to take care of skin from within.

BETA-CAROTENES CARROT   PUMPKIN   BROCCOLI   SPINACH

It is a vegetable pigment that our body transforms into vitamin A. It is highly antioxidant, so it helps in repairing tissues and preventing wrinkles, and has photo-protective properties.

LYCOPENE TOMATO   WATERMELON   RED BELL PEPPER   GRAPEFRUIT

Another carotenoid. It is the natural pigment that colours red some vegetables in nature. Also, it is a powerful antioxidant. It helps maintaining the skin’s elasticity and has anti-inflammatory action.

VITAMIN C ORANGES   LEMONS   STRAWBERRIES   KIWI

Vitamin C is a key element in the production of collagen. It helps maintaining the skin’s elasticity and repairing the damages caused by solar exposure.

VITAMIN E OLIVE OIL   ALMONDS   WHEAT GERM   AVOCADO

With antioxidant properties, it protects the skin against solar damages. In addition, it helps alleviating dry and peeling skin during tanning.

OMEGA 3 SALMON   FALXSEEDS   CHIA   NUTS

Omega 3 is essential for the formation of the external membrane of cells and to increase the skin’s moisturizing. It helps reducing inflammation and ageing after being exposed to sun.
